Elderflower champagne mimosa

Welcome to the last post of 2017!!!
I thought we need to ring in the New Year with some bubbles, so I made these champagne cocktails with orange liqueur, elderflower tonic and a twist of lemon. Just four simple ingredients, but trust me, it’s delicious, boozy and bubbly!  For my New Year’s Eve drink I wanted to include champagne! I feel like that evening can’t be complete without some bubbles.

Elderflower champagne mimosa

Ingredients

  • 3 cl orange liqueur (Cointreau)
  • champagne or sparkling wine
  • 6 cl elderflower tonic or more to taste
  • a twist of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 orange slice
  • fresh rosemary
  • ice cubes

Instructions

Place the ice cubes in your glass, add orange liqueur, tonic and a twist of lemon juice. Top with champagne and garnish with pomegranate seeds, orange slices and fresh rosemary. Drink!
