1egg
3tbspbreadcrumbs
½tspsalt
½tspblack pepper
½tspgarlic powder
¼cupgrated Parmesan
1tbspolive oilfor cooking
1tbspunsalted butterfor cooking
Cranberry Sauce
1shallotfinely chopped
2garlic clovesminced
9ouncesfresh or frozen cranberries
3ouncesbrown sugar
3tbspbalsamic vinegar
½tspsalt
½tspblack pepper
½cupwater
fresh rosemaryfor serving

Instructions
To a bowl, add ground meat, egg, garlic powder, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs and Parmesan. Mix with your hands, just until combined. Roll into 2-teaspoon sized meatballs. Makes about 35 meatballs.
Heat oil and butter over medium in a large skillet or pan. Add meatballs and brown all over for about 2 minutes. Remove from skillet, leaving the oil in the skillet.
Add garlic and shallot, cook for 2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in cranberries, next add brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour in water, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Taste and adjust brown sugar, if you like your sauce sweeter.
Remove the lid from the skillet, toss in meatballs and simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes more or until the meatballs are cooked through.
