Salmon with Lemon Orzo

grate the Parmesan

finely chop the onion

mince the  garlic cloves

pat the salmon dry,  season both sides with  salt, pepper, paprika  and garlic powder

heat oil and butter  over medium high,  add salmon fillets

sear 3-4 minutes  per side

remove from skillet

add garlic and onion,  cook for 2 minutes  over medium

add orzo, salt, pepper  and thyme, toast  for 1 minute

pour in broth,  bring to a boil

simmer for  8 minutes,  stir occasionally

add spinach,  simmer for  2 minutes

add lemon juice  and Parmesan

stir to combine

add salmon,  simmer for  2 minutes

top with  black pepper  and chili flakes
