Brussels Sprout Gratin

cut the Brussels  sprouts in half

mince the garlic

heat an ovenproof  skillet over  medium high,  add pancetta,  cook until crispy

remove from skillet

add Brussels sprouts,  cook for 3 minutes

add garlic, salt,  pepper, nutmeg and  Italian seasoning,  cook for 2 minutes

reduce heat  to medium, stir in  cream cheese

add half-and-half

stir in Gruyère

turn off the heat,  sprinkle with  Parmesan

top with pancetta  and black pepper,  transfer to the oven,  bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 °F / 180°C
