Tuscan Tortellini Soup


remove casings from sausages

grate the Parmesan

finely chop the onion

mince the garlic

heat a pot over medium high, add bacon, cook until crispy

remove from pot

add butter, and Italian sausages

break up into pieces, cook until brown

add onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes

stir in salt, pepper and Italian seasoning

pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, simmer for 10 minutes

add cream and lemon juice

stir in spinach

add tortellini, boil for 2 minutes

turn off the heat, stir in Parmesan

top with bacon, chili flakes and black pepper
