Sticky Honey Meatballs

chop the white parts  of the scallions,  cut the green parts  into larger pieces

grate the  garlic cloves and  the ginger

combine broth with  soy sauce, honey,  rice vinegar and  cornstarch

combine ground beef  with breadcrumbs,   egg, salt, pepper and  garlic powder

roll into  2-tbsp sized  meatballs

heat oil and butter  over medium high,  add meatballs

brown all over

slide aside,  add garlic, ginger  and white parts  of the scallions,  cook for 1 minute

pour in  prepared sauce, cover, simmer  for 10 minutes

stir in  the remaining scallions,  top with  chili flakes
