Spicy Moroccan Salmon

slice the lemon

mince the  garlic cloves

dice the onion

grate the ginger

season salmon fillets  with salt, pepper  and smoked paprika

heat oil and butter over medium

add  salmon fillets

sear 3-4  minutes per side

remove from skillet

place  lemon slices in a single layer

cook 30 seconds per side

remove from skillet

add garlic,  onion and ginger, cook for 3 minutes

stir in  salt, pepper,  cumin and  coriander

add  tomato paste, stir for 1 minute

deglaze with  vegetable broth,  simmer for  2 minutes

add chili paste and crushed tomatoes  simmer for  3 minutes

meanwhile, chop the parsley and cilantro

add parsley and cilantro

add salmon

add olives  and caramelized  lemon slices  simmer for 3 minutes

top with  black pepper, parsley and cilantro
