Smothered Turkey and Gravy

remove the  silver skin from  turkey tenderloin

season both sides with  garlic powder, smoked  paprika, thyme, sage,  salt and pepper

deseed and cut the  bell pepper into strips

slice the onions

mince the  garlic cloves

heat oil and butter  over medium,  add turkey tenderloin

sear 5 minutes  per side

remove from skillet

add butter,  onions and bell pepper  sauté for 3 minutes

add garlic,  sauté for 3 minutes

add sugar  and flour  stir until incorporated

pour in broth,  bring to a boil

add turkey  tenderloin

sprinkle with parsley,  simmer 20 minutes  over low
