Salmon with Artichoke Orzo

pat salmon fillets dry, season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder

finely chop the onion

mince the garlic

cut artichokes in half

heat oil and butter over medium high, add salmon fillets

cook 3 minutes per side

remove from skillet

add garlic and onion, cook for 2 minutes

add salt, pepper, thyme and orzo, cook for 1 minute

pour in broth, bring to a boil

simmer for  10 minutes or until liquid  is evaporated, stir frequently

stir in Parmesan

add artichokes

add lemon juice and cream, simmer 2 minutes

add salmon, simmer for 3 minutes more

top with  chili flakes, black pepper  and parsley
