Pepperoni Pizza Soup with Tortellini

remove casings from sausages, chop into smaller pieces
finely chop the onion
mince the garlic
dice the bell pepper
heat oil in a large pot, add pepperoni
cook until crispy, remove from pot
add bell pepper, cook for 5 minutes
add Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, onion and garlic
cook for 2 minutes
add Italian sausage, cook until it starts to brown
stir in tomato paste
add chicken broth and puréed tomatoes, bring to a boil
simmer for 10 minutes
add tortellini, cook for 3 minutes
stir in Parmesan
