Orange Chicken

cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces

in a large bowl,  beat an egg, add flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder and dried onion

combine with chicken

squeeze out orange juice, add orange zest

grate garlic cloves and ginger

stir in rice vinegar,  brown sugar, cornstarch and  soy sauce

heat oil over high, add half of the chicken

place in a single layer, sear for 1 minute

stir-fry for 8-10 minutes, until golden and cooked through

remove from wok

repeat with remaining chicken

discard oil, wipe clean

add prepared orange sauce

simmer for 2 minutes, until it thickens

stir in chicken

finish off with chili flakes and scallions
