One Pot Tomato Beef Orzo

mince the garlic

finely chop the onion

heat oil and butter in a large skillet

add ground beef, break up into pieces

cook until brown

add onion, garlic and spices, cook for 2 minutes

add red wine, cook for 2 minutes

stir in tomato paste

stir in orzo

pour in broth

add bay leaf, simmer for 15 minutes

meanwhile, chop the parsley

don't forget to stir occasionally

add broth, if needed

sprinkle with  lemon juice, stir in Parmesan

finish off with parsley, black pepper and red pepper flakes
