Loaded Hummus with Merguez Meatballs

add lemon juice, spices, garlic and tahini to your foodprocessor

blend for 2 minutes

add chickpeas, sesame oil, yogurt and ice water, process until super smooth

thinly slice the cucumber

cut the cherry tomatoes in half

thinly slice the red onion

combine with olive oil, lemon juice and spices

remove casings from  the merguez sausages

cut into small pieces, roll into balls

heat oil in a skillet, add meatballs

brown on all sides, about 3 minutes

add chickpeas, pine nuts and garlic, cook for 3 minutes more

finish off with parsley and black pepper

divide hummus  between bowls, top with meatball mixture

add cucumber salad, peppers and spices
