slice the mushrooms

dice the onion

mince the  garlic cloves

peel and thinly slice  the potatoes

combine with cream,  salt, pepper and  grated Parmesan

heat your skillet  over high,  next add mushrooms,  cook until they've  released moisture

add oil, cook  until browned,  remove from skillet

add oil, butter  and ground beef

break up into pieces,  cook until it starts  to brown

add salt, pepper,  paprika, parsley,  garlic and onion,  cook for 2 minutes

add Worcestershire  sauce and beef broth,  simmer for 2 minutes

stir in mushrooms,  remove from heat

grease an ovenproof  pan with oil, spread  potatoes in a single layer reserving the  cream mixture

add beef mixture and  excess cream mixture

cover with aluminum foil,  bake for 40 minutes at  400°F/200°C

sprinkle with  cheddar, bake for  10 minutes more
