Halloumi with  Hot Honey

mince the  garlic cloves

cut halloumi into  thick slices

heat oil over medium

place halloumi in  a single layer

sear 1 minute  per side

remove from skillet

add remaining oil

add garlic, cook until fragrant  over low heat

deglaze with  white wine

add cherry  tomatoes

stir in cumin, paprika,  chili flakes and thyme,  cover, simmer for  15 minutes

turn off the heat

stir in honey

add halloumi

finish off with flaky salt and  black pepper
