grate the Parmesan

chop the basil

mince the  garlic cloves

boil pasta al dente  in salted water

heat oil and butter  over medium low,  add garlic,  cook for 1 minute

add tomato paste,  cook for 2 minutes

stir in  Gochujang sauce

season with  salt and pepper

deglaze  with vodka

pour in cream,  simmer for  5 minutes

scoop up 1/2 cup  cooking water,  drain the pasta

stir in  Parmesan

toss with pasta,  1/4 cup  cooking water  and basil
