Garlic Shrimp in Coconut Milk

combine shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder, set aside

finely chop the onion

mince the garlic

chop the cilantro

heat oil and butter over medium high, add shrimp, place in a single layer

sear 1 minute per side

remove from skillet

reduce heat to low, sauté garlic and onion for 3 minutes

add 3/4 coconut milk

combine the remaining coconut milk with cornstarch, then add to the skillet

stir in fish sauce, honey and lime juice, simmer for 2 minutes

stir in cilantro

add shrimp,  toss to coat, simmer for 1 minute

top with cilantro, chili flakes and black pepper
