Easy Pork and Mushroom Stew

cut pork chuck into  bite-sized pieces

roughly chop the mushrooms

mince the garlic

finely chop the shallot

chop the parsley

heat oil and butter over medium high, place pork in a single layer

sear undisturbed for 2 minutes, then start to stir, cook until browned

remove from skillet

add mushrooms, cook until they release moisture

add oil, cook until golden brown

add salt, pepper,  rosemary, paprika and balsamic vinegar

add garlic and shallot, cook for 2 minutes

add pork with  its released juices

stir in flour

pour in beef broth, bring to a boil

cover, simmer for 35 minutes

stir occasionally

when ready, add half-and-half, simmer for 5 minutes

finish off with parsley
