Easy Butter Chicken Curry

cut chicken  into cubes

combine with yoghurt,  salt, cumin, coriander,  turmeric, curry powder,  cayenne pepper,  garlic powder and  pepper

massage  yoghurt mixture  into chicken,  set aside

mince the  garlic cloves

dice the onion

heat oil over  medium high

add half  of the chicken

brown on all sides, about 5 minutes

transfer to  a clean bowl

add oil and the remaining chicken

cook for 5 minutes, remove from skillet

add butter

add garlic, onion  and ginger,  cook until fragrant

add garam masala,  chili powder,  tomato paste and curry paste

pour in  coconut milk

bring to a boil

add chicken

add lime juice  and butter

simmer for  10 minutes
