Creamy Tomato and Shrimp Risotto

combine shrimp with  salt, pepper, paprika,  garlic powder, thyme  and olive oil

mince the  garlic cloves

dice the onion

dice the  celery stalk

heat oil and butter over medium high

place shrimp in  a single layer

sear 1 minute  per side

remove from skillet

add garlic  and onion, cook for  2 minutes

add celery, cook for  2 minutes more

add rice,  toast for  2 minutes

deglaze with  white wine, simmer for  2 minutes

add broth, 1 cup at a time

stir until completely  absorbed

keep adding broth until each addition  is absorbed stir frequently

simmer until  the rice is al dente

add puréed tomatoes

stir in tomato paste

add cream cheese

finish off with  basil and  black pepper

add shrimp, simmer for  1 minute until  heated through
