Creamy Gruyere Pasta

boil linguine  al dente  in salted water

cook bacon over medium until crispy

add breadcrumbs, cook until golden

 stir in garlic powder, remove the breadcrumbs  from skillet,  clean the skillet

 melt the butter,  stir in flour, salt, pepper, dried onion  and herbs de Provence

keep stirring and cooking for about  1 minute

slowly pour in milk, while you keep stirring

reduce heat to low, stir and simmer  for 2 minutes

add Gruyère cheese, stir until  completely melted

drain the linguine

toss in linguine  and parsley

finish off  with bacon breadcrumbs
