Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

dice the bell pepper

finely chop the onion

mince the garlic

combine shrimp with oil and cajun seasoning

cook linguine  in salted water

heat oil and butter in a large skillet

place shrimp in a single layer

sear, 1 minute per side

remove from skillet

add bell pepper, onion and garlic

sauté for 5 minutes

stir in spices

scoop up 1 cup cooking water, deglaze skillet with 1/2 cup cooking water

add cream, bring to a simmer

stir in spinach

stir in grated Parmesan

add lemon juice

drain the pasta

toss linguine and shrimp with sauce

finish off with  black pepper and  red pepper flakes
