Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

dice the bell pepper

dice the onion

mince the  garlic cloves

combine shrimp  with oil and  Cajun seasoning

boil linguine  al dente in salted water

heat oil and butter  over medium high

place shrimp in a single layer

sear 1 minute  per side

remove from skillet

add bell pepper, onion and garlic

sauté for 5 minutes

stir in  Cajun seasoning,  salt and  black pepper

scoop up  1 cup cooking water,  deglaze skillet  with 1/2 cup  cooking water

add cream, bring to a simmer

stir in spinach

stir in Parmesan

add lemon juice

drain the pasta

toss with linguine  and shrimp

finish off with  black pepper and  red pepper flakes
