Citrus Chicken and Potato Bake

combine chicken thighs  with salt, pepper  and paprika

quarter the potatoes

cut the onion  into wedges

mince the  garlic cloves

slice the lemon  and the orange

juice 1/2 lemon  and an orange,  combine with sugar,  salt, pepper, chili flakes  and rosemary

heat oil and butter  over medium in  an ovenproof skillet,  add chicken  skin-side down,  sear for 10 minutes

turn, sear  for 5 minutes

remove from skillet

add garlic  and potatoes,  cook for 1 minute

add onion and  place the chicken  skin-side up

drizzle with the  prepared citrus sauce,  bake for 20 minutes  at 400°F-200°C

remove from oven,  top with lemon  and orange slices

bake further  for 30 minutes  at 350°F/ 180°C
