deseed and dice the bell peppers
dice the onion
mince the garlic cloves
heat oil and butter, add bell peppers, onion and garlic, cook for 3 minutes
add 1/4 cup beef broth and ground beef, break up into pieces, cook for 5 minutes
stir in salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano and cornstarch
stir in tomato paste
add remaining beef broth and crushed tomatoes
stir in bay leaves and dark chocolate, cover, simmer for 90 minutes
add kidney beans, simmer uncovered for 30 minutes
