mince the garlic

finely chop the onion

heat oil in a skillet

add maple syrup & bourbon

remove from skillet

add butter

place shrimp in a single layer

season, sear 1 minute on both sides

lower the heat, remove from skillet

add garlic & onion, cook until soft

add spices & tomato paste

pour in chicken broth, bring to a simmer

bring chicken broth and milk to a boil

add polenta, stir continuously about 2 mins

add seasoning  and lemon juice

turn off the heat, gradually add Parmesan

stir in butter

cover,  let stand for 2 minutes

in the meantime, add shrimp to tomato gravy, heat for 1 minute
