Cheesy One Pot Beef and Potatoes

peel and slice  the potatoes

dice the onion

mince the  garlic cloves

deseed and slice the peppers

chop the parsley

heat oil and butter  in a nonstick skillet  set over medium

add potatoes,  cook until slightly browned, remove from skillet

add peppers,  cook until soft

add ground beef, cook until browned

add garlic and onion, cook for 2 minutes

stir in salt,  pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning,  chili flakes and  tomato paste

add parsley  and potatoes

pour in  chicken broth, cover and simmer  for 10-15 minutes

meanwhile, grate the cheddar

when potatoes  are ready, add cheddar,  cover and let it melt  completely

top with parsley and chili flakes
