Cheesy Mushroom Buns with Sun-Dried Tomatoes & Bacon

cut the buns in half

using your fingertips, gently push the center of each bun

slice the mushrooms

mince the garlic

chop the sage

heat oil in an ovenproof skillet, add bacon

cook until golden brown

add mushrooms

sauté for 5 minutes

stir in oil

add garlic

stir in spices, sun-dried tomatoes and sage

turn off the heat, remove mixture from skillet

arrange the buns

add mozzarella

top with mushroom filling

garnish with extra sun-dried tomatoes

add sage leaves

finish off with pine nuts and red pepper flakes, bake for 10 minutes
