Carbonara Potato Soup

mince the garlic,  dice the onion

peel and chop  the potatoes

heat the butter,  add bacon, cook until golden brown,  remove

add onion, garlic  and black pepper,  cook for 3 minutes

add potatoes and broth, cover, simmer for 15 minutes

blend the soup,  but keep it chunky

combine egg yolks with Parmesan and cream, whisk in 2 ladles of  hot soup

slowly stir  the mixture into  the soup

finish off with bacon and black pepper
