grate the Parmesan

finely chop the shallot

mince the garlic

chop the parsley

melt butter over medium low, add shallot, garlic and anchovy, cook for 3 minutes

add Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper

deglaze with chicken broth, simmer for 2 minutes

add white beans

pour in half-and-half, bring to a simmer

stir in Parmesan, simmer for 3 minutes

add lemon juice and parsley,  top with black pepper
