BBQ Bacon Pasta

mince the  garlic cloves

dice the onion

chop the parsley

boil pasta  al dente in  salted water

heat oil and butter  over medium high

add bacon, cook until crispy

remove from skillet

add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant

scoop up 1/2 cup  cooking water add a splash to  deglaze the skillet

add roasted peppers

stir in tomato paste, and ketchup

add balsamic vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper,  paprika, turmeric,  red pepper flakes   and cumin

pour in  tomato purée

drain the pasta

add pasta  and crème fraiche

add Parmesan, stir to combine

toss in parsley  and bacon
