Asian Cucumber Salad

thinly slice cucumbers

place in a strainer, add salt, toss to combine, set aside for 20 minutes

finely slice the shallot

add soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, vegetable oil, brown sugar, chili flakes and oyster sauce

whisk to combine

to a bowl,  add cucumber slices and shallot

pour in the prepared dressing  add black pepper

mix to combine
