Soft granola cakes with juicy apples caramelized in brown butter with honey. These cakes are so dazzling and delicious! Definitely serve warm with vanilla ice cream or sour cream.

  • 50 g chopped walnuts

Instructions

Cut the apples into thin slices. In a large skillet, heat the butter with honey and cinnamon. When the butter starts to foam, add the apples and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally. This takes about 10-15 minutes.
Prepare the molds and grease with butter. Arrange the apple slices and add the remaining butter.

Put the butter and sugar in the bowl of your mixer. Beat until it becomes a light mass. Still beating, add the eggs, one at a time with a little flour, beat until all ingredients are combined. Add granola and walnuts and stir with a spatula.

Distribute the batter on top of the apples. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 170°C.
Serve warm with ice cream or sour cream.
