Welcome to the last post of 2017!!!
I thought we need to ring in the New Year with some bubbles, so I made these champagne cocktails with orange liqueur, elderflower tonic and a twist of lemon. Just four simple ingredients, but trust me, it’s delicious, boozy and bubbly! For my New Year’s Eve drink I wanted to include champagne! I feel like that evening can’t be complete without some bubbles.
Hope you guys are ringing in the New Year with lots of great food and some good cocktails…
- 3 cl orange liqueur (Cointreau)
- champagne or sparkling wine
- 6 cl elderflower tonic or more to taste
- a twist of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
- 1/2 orange slice
- fresh rosemary
- ice cubes
Place the ice cubes in your glass, add orange liqueur, tonic and a twist of lemon juice. Top with champagne and garnish with pomegranate seeds, orange slices and fresh rosemary. Drink!
