Yogurt Chicken Curry


mince the garlic

finely chop the onion

season the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika

heat oil and butter over medium high

add chicken

cook 5-8 minutes per side

remove from skillet

add garlic, onion  and ginger

add turmeric, cumin, coriander, cayenne,  paprika and  curry powder,  cook for 5 minutes

deglaze with  chicken broth

simmer for  1-2 minutes

stir in tomato paste  and garam masala  curry paste

add puréed tomatoes, bring to a boil

reduce heat to low, stir in yoghurt

add salt,  chili pepper and lime juice

add chicken,  simmer for  5 minutes

top with cilantro and sesame seeds
