One pot Salmon Alfredo Orzo

pat the salmon fillets dry, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika

finely chop the shallot

mince the garlic

chop the parsley

heat oil and butter over medium high, add salmon fillets

sear, 3-4 minutes per side

remove from skillet

reduce heat, add garlic and shallot, cook for 2 minutes

stir in salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and cayenne pepper

add orzo, toast for 1 minute

pour in broth, bring to a boil

simmer for 10 minutes

stir occasionally

when broth is absorbed, add cream and butter, stir until combined

stir in Parmesan

add lemon juice

add salmon, simmer for 3 minutes

top with parsley, chili flakes and black pepper
