One Pot Broccoli Cheddar Salmon Orzo

pat the salmon dry, season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder

dice the onion

mince the  garlic cloves

chop the broccoli

heat oil and butter over medium high, add salmon fillets

cook 3-4 minutes per side

remove from skillet

add garlic  and onion, sauté for  2 minutes

add orzo, salt, cayenne pepper and Italian seasoning, cook for 1 minute

deglaze with white wine, simmer for 2 minutes

add broccoli and chicken broth

bring to a boil, simmer for  10 minutes stir occasionally

meanwhile,  shred the cheddar  and grate  the Parmesan

add  half-and-half, cheddar and  Parmesan

stir until melted

add salmon, simmer for 3 minutes

finish off with chili flakes  and lots of  black pepper
