Lemon Pepper Chicken

gently pound the chicken fillets with a meat tenderizer

season with salt, pepper,  garlic powder, paprika  and lemon zest

finely chop the shallot

mince the garlic

heat oil and butter over medium, add chicken fillets

cook 5 minutes  per side

remove from skillet

add garlic and shallot, cook for 2 minutes

add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and sugar

add chicken broth and lemon zest

then add butter and asparagus, cook for 3 minutes

sprinkle with lemon juice

add chicken, simmer for 3 minutes, or until cooked through

finish off with black pepper and lemon zest
