Italian Sausage and Chorizo Rigatoni

mince the garlic

finely chop the onion

chop the chorizo

heat oil in a large heavy bottom pot

add chorizo

cook until crispy

add onion and garlic cook until soft

add Italian sausage

break it up with a fork or a wooden spoon

cook until it starts to brown

stir in tomato paste

add spices

add chicken broth, simmer for 2 minutes

pour in crushed tomatoes, simmer for 15 minutes

meanwhile, cook the rigatoni in salted water

stir occasionally, chop the parsley

drain the rigatoni

turn off the heat, add parsley & Parmesan

toss with rigatoni
