Hamburger Steak with Creamy Mushroom Gravy

thinly slice the mushrooms

finely chop the onion

mince the garlic

to a bowl, add ground beef, panko, egg, salt, pepper, dried garlic and onion, cream and Worcestershire sauce

mix to combine

divide beef mixture into 4 portions, gently form each portion into balls

heat oil and butter over medium-high

add beef balls to skillet, press down on each one until 3/4 inch | 2cm thick

cook 3-5 minutes per side

remove from skillet

add garlic and onion, cook until fragrant

add mushrooms, salt, pepper and thyme, cook until brown

stir in butter and add flour, stir until incorporated

add Worcestershire sauce and vegetable broth, simmer for 1 minute

add cream, simmer for 2 minutes

return hamburger steaks to skillet, simmer for 5-7 minutes

finish off with parsley and black pepper
