Creamy Mushroom Hamburger Steaks

thinly slice the mushrooms

dice the onion

mince the garlic

to a bowl, add ground beef, panko, egg, salt, pepper, dried garlic and onion, cream and Worcestershire sauce

mix to combine

divide beef mixture into 4 portions, gently form each portion a ball

heat oil and butter over medium-high

add beef balls to skillet, press down on each one until 3/4 inch (2cm thick)

cook 3-5 minutes per side

remove from skillet

add garlic and onion, cook until fragrant

add mushrooms, salt, pepper and thyme, cook until browned

stir in butter and add flour

add Worcestershire sauce and vegetable broth, simmer for 1 minute

add cream, simmer for 2 minutes

add hamburger steaks  simmer for 5-7 minutes

finish off with parsley and black pepper
