Garam Masala Salmon Rice Bowls

pat the salmon fillets dry, cut into cubes

combine with salt, pepper and garam masala

cut bell pepper into bite-sized pieces

chop the scallions

mince the garlic

heat oil and butter over medium high, add salmon

place in a single layer, sear 1 minute per side

remove from skillet

cook rice according package directions

add bell pepper, cook for 3 minutes

add garlic, cook for 2 minutes over medium

stir in salt, smoked paprika and garam masala

deglaze with 1/2 cup water, cook for 1 minute

add honey, sambal olek and lemon juice

stir in half of the scallions

return salmon to skillet

toss to coat
