slice the mushrooms

thinly slice the onions

mince the garlic

heat skillet over high, add mushrooms

cook until they start to release moisture

add oil, cook until brown

remove from skillet

add oil and butter

add onions

cook for 10 minutes, stir often

add garlic, spices and balsamic vinegar

cook for 5 minutes, stir often

stir in flour

add white wine, simmer for 2 minutes

pour in broth, simmer for 10 minutes

meanwhile, cook the pasta

chop the parsley and chives don't forget to stir the onions

drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water

stir in mushrooms

add cream  and parsley

toss with pasta

turn off the heat, stir in comté cheese, add a splash  of cooking water, if needed

finish off with black pepper and parsley
