Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta

add basil, pine nuts and lemon juice to a food processor

pulse briefly, then add Parmesan, salt and pepper

while machine is running, add olive oil, blend until smooth

mince the garlic

cook the pasta

heat oil and butter in a large pan

add chicken

season with salt and pepper, cook until brown

remove from pan

add butter

add garlic, cook until fragrant

pour in cream,  bring to a boil

add chicken to the sauce

stir in pesto

drain pasta, reserving 1/4 cup cooking water

toss pasta with sauce, Parmesan and a splash of cooking water
