Cheesy One Pot Beef and Potatoes

peel and slice the potatoes
finely chop the onions
mince the garlic
deseed and slice the peppers
chop the parsley
heat oil and butter in a nonstick skillet over medium
add potatoes, cook until slightly browned, remove from skillet
add peppers, cook until they start to soften
add ground beef, cook until browned
add garlic and onion, cook for 2 minutes
stir in salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, chili flakes and tomato paste
add parsley and potatoes
pour in chicken broth, cover, simmer for 10-15 minutes
meanwhile, grate the cheddar
