Beef and Feta Mega Meatballs

combine ground beef with egg yolk,  garlic powder, salt, pepper, oregano, breadcrumbs....

and freshly  crumbled feta

mix to combine

roll into  large meatballs

finely chop the carrots

mince the garlic

heat oil and butter over medium, add meatballs

brown all over

remove from skillet

add shallots and garlic, cook for 3 minutes

stir in salt, pepper, oregano and chili flakes

deglaze with chicken broth

add crushed  tomatoes, bring to a boil

add meatballs, cover and simmer for 10 minutes

meanwhile, cook pasta al dente in salted water

when ready, drain

add basil leaves to the sauce

top with chili flakes and black pepper, serve with pasta
