Rice with Shrimp Chorizo and Corn

combine shrimp  with salt, pepper,  garlic powder  and paprika

remove corn from the cob

chop the parsley

mince the garlic

finely chop the chorizo

heat oil and butter over medium high, add chorizo, cook until crispy

add corn kernels, cook for 3 minutes

add garlic and parsley, cook for 1 minute

add maple syrup, remove chorizo mixture from skillet

place shrimp  in a single layer, sear 1 minute per side

add lemon zest and lemon juice

transfer to the bowl with chorizo

melt 1 tbsp butter, add rice, cook for 3 minutes

meanwhile, toss shrimp with chorizo mixture

combine with rice

top with chili flakes, black pepper and parsley
