chop the parsley

mince the garlic

roughly chop the olives

heat oil and butter in  a large skillet over medium

add cherry tomatoes, cook until they start to burst, about 3 minutes

add garlic, salt, pepper, soy sauce, chili flakes and Italian seasoning

add tomato paste

stir until combined, cover, simmer for 15 minutes

meanwhile, cook spaghetti until al dente in salted water

when ready, scoop up cooking water, add 1/2 cup to the sauce

add capers and olives

drain the spaghetti

toss with sauce, finish off with parsley
