Maple Garlic  Salmon with Polenta

pat the salmon fillets dry, season with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder

mince the garlic cloves

heat oil and butter over medium high, add salmon fillets

sear 2 minutes per sides

remove from skillet

add garlic, cook over  medium low for 2 minutes

deglaze with chicken broth, simmer for  1 minute

add butter  and maple syrup

stir until butter is melted

add soy sauce and lemon juice

add salmon

simmer over low for 5 minutes

meanwhile,  bring chicken broth and milk  to a simmer

add polenta, simmer for 3 minutes, stir constantly

stir in salt, pepper and Parmesan
