Juicy Baked Turkey Breast

combine water and salt, add turkey,  brine for 6 hours  in the fridge, preferably overnight

when ready,  rinse the turkey  and pat dry

season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder,  brown sugar and  Italian seasoning

halve the  Brussels sprouts,  cut carrots into smaller pieces

cut the shallots  lenghtwise,  and the garlic head  in half

heat oil and butter over medium in an ovenproof skillet

add turkey breasts

cook 5 minutes  per side

remove from skillet

add sprouts, carrots, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and Italian seasoning

deglaze with  white wine, simmer for  2 minutes

add shallots,  thyme, sage leaves and chicken broth

return turkey to the skillet

add garlic head, bake for 30 minutes at 400°F/ 200°C
