Green Beans with Brown Butter Breadcrumbs

snap off the stems

or line them up, and slice them off all at once

add beans to salted boiling water,  cook for 8-10 minutes

melt butter in a skillet, stirring constantly

keep stirring until golden brown, about 2 minutes

add breadcrumbs, cook until crispy, 2 minutes

add spices,  cook 1 minute more

when ready, drain the beans

run under cold water, drain well

add to breadcrumbs, toss to combine
