Chicken Paprikash Meatballs

remove veins and seeds from bell pepper, cut into thin slices

slice the mushrooms

mince the garlic

thinly chop the onion

add ingredients for  the meatballs to a bowl

roll into balls

heat oil and butter in a large skillet

add meatballs

brown on all sides, remove from skillet

add mushrooms, cook until browned, remove from skillet

add oil, butter and bell pepper, cook for 3 minutes

add onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes

add spices

stir in flour

deglaze with chicken broth, simmer for  2 minutes

add puréed tomatoes, simmer for 3 minutes

meanwhile, chop the parsley

add parsley and sour cream, stir until combined

add mushrooms and meatballs, simmer for 10 minutes

top with black pepper, red pepper flakes and parsley
